charges for printed labels
I THINK I AM BEING CHARGED FOR PRINTED LABELS THAT I DO NOT USE. I PRINT ALL MY OWN ENVELOPES AND DO NOT REQUIRES LABELS I TICKED LABELS ON MY FIRST SELLING ITEM NOT REALISING THAT IT WOULD APPLY TO ALL FUTURE SOLD ITEMS......... I AM AN 83 YEAR OLD PENSIONER AND CANNOT AFFORD THE PRINTED LABELS. I WAS RECENTLY CHARGED OVER 29.00 FOR LABELS I DID NOT USE ...............PLEASE MAY I HAVE A REFUND FOR THIS OR FAILING THAT CANCEL THE REQUEST FOR LABELS ALSO HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO SELL ITEMS TO RECEIVE THE MONEY FOR THE SALES. I HAVE BEEN WITH EBAY FOR MANY MANY YEARS AT LEAST 25 AND WAS SELLING ON EBAY SOME TIME AGO. BUT HAD A HIATUS FOR SOME TIME NOW WITH THE COST OF LIVING SKY ROCKETING I FIND MYSELF IN NEED OF MONEY TO EXIST. I HAVE ALWAYS HAD A GREAT RELATION WITH EBAY I APOLOGISE FOR THE CAPITALS ITS THE ONLY WAY I CAN SEE WHAT I HAVE WRITTEN REGARDS PATRICIA THOMIS

·3 years agoYou are not charged for a label unless you print it. Have you been printing them? If so, I'm not sure how long Australian Post will allow you to cancel your label. You might want to ask on the Australian forum rather than on ebay in the US.

If you haven't printed any labels you are probably looking at the cost that ebay charges for final value fees. I don't know how it works there but in the US they the fees are based on the total that the buyer paid which can include the item, shipping and tax.

·3 years agoYou can VOID unused labels under five days old. The option is in the drop down menu next to each label here:

In the future if you are not going to print labels do not click on that option, but in the drop down menu use the option to mark the item as shipped instead.
Note, that by not using tracking, you will lose and not received dispute, and also get low marks on your ebay account.
