Charge Back USPS Charges and PO Dispute Form
Sold an item "wool topcoat" and used the Ebay feature to buy and print a label. Everything went well until I got a notice from Ebay that they were charging me for under stating the weight of the package by some 8.6 lbs. The PO receipt says 5.4 lbs and I listed 6lbs. PO tracked the package and no where does the package weight change in it's travels.
Ebay says I have to use the USPS Dispute Form APV to file a claim to get my $ back. The form asks for IMPB # which is the tracking number and the transaction ID number. Where do you get the Transaction ID number? I've spent 8 hours looking for this on Ebay and traveling to the PO. Can't pull up the original transaction for the purchase of the label. Ebay says I have to get it from the PO and the PO says it was generated from Ebay so it has to come from them. The transaction number on the drop off slip doesn't work because there was no $ transaction so shows as no sale.
