Change a sold item to pick up instead of shipping.
Hello! I recently sold and item and the client picked up instead of me shipping. However, she paid it with shipping before I got a change to change it. Can I change the status to pickup so I can get paid and not have to pay additional shipping fees. Thank you!

You'll still get paid, after the 30 day hold.
No, you can't change it.
You can mark it shipped, but it won't help get paid any faster.

That's funny... when I check the Sold listing, it shows Free local pickup. You should have entered the buyer's code or scanned the barcode at pickup so that eBay would know you've completed the transaction.
While eBay is not the place to earn fast cash, we need to figure out how to get you your cash. Good luck and good golly...
Afterthought... it looks like it was also offered with Free FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery. If you use @redmodelt's 'envelope/package' method, you might need to send it via FedEx. (I like Red's idea, though.)
Also curious... did you charge the buyer more than $4500, or did you intend to deduct a shipping cost from the $4500, since the buyer picked it up? 🤔

·10 months agoSend them a small envelope/package with tracking would be the only way at this point to prove delivery. If you do this via the post office be sure to add the tracking number to the page. Might want to give the buyer a heads up. 🙂 You can refund the difference from the drop down on the item if you wish.
