Carrier refused to ship item forward?
Ordered the Galactus bucket from the US, was really excited as they aren’t available in the uk, only to be met with this when checking the tracking, never seen this before? Seller doesn’t know why, on his end and from fedex it just says delivered and EBay customer service weren’t much help, just said wait until the last day and put in an item not arrived

·1 year agoRejected for export / import based upon the export laws of the US & Import laws of the UK. ebay now has to behave like a proper business, following US Treasury Law due to it being a pseudo bank now. Any service that interacts with US Law - such as international shipping through its own service, has to follow customs law or it risks that banking ability as customs laws are also US Treasury Laws.

·1 year agoBecause this was sent through eBay International Shipping once the item gets to the hub, the sale is completed on the seller's end and it becomes eBay's responsibility. As others have said it was likely rejected due to import restrictions.
Of course with all the automation on the site, it's absolutely baffling why a refund isn't immediately sent to you when this happens. I believe you do in fact have to wait for the delivery date and file a 'Not Received' claim to get refunded.

The UK is blocking a lot of toys being imported to the UK.

·1 year agoWonder if it's some licensing issue? There are some movie based toys that can't be sold in some countries.
