Can you ship Military/Police/Corrections Patches via Ebay Standard Envelope ??
I have a large amount of sub 20 dollar patches to sell, mainly Military, Police & Corrections. I do not like shipping things that are cheap without tracking it makes them much to easy tk steal or claim not arrived...
I have used standard envelope for tokens and coins and it has been a good experience. I see ebay lists "patches" as ok. Yet i see a lot of people online stating military and police patches dont apply of things in those categories havent allowed them to print standard labels.... yet sporting patches & fire department patches do seem to work...
At the end of the day i have to charge 6-8 a patch to cover costs at ground advantage rates. Where as if i use a standard i can charge 2.50 and have the cost covered and it is the difference between it being worth selling these or not!
Does anyone know with certainity if military and police patches can use standard envelopes now.... if i cant its not worth listing a lot of them as they wont sell due to them costing to much. Hope some knows 100%... thanks in advance

·1 year agoAs long as it meets the requirements, i would not see why you could not use it. eBay does have patches listed as items OK to use.
Envelope requirements
To use the service, it's important to ensure your envelope meets the below criteria. If it doesn't, the shipment may be returned to you, or the buyer may receive the item with postage due.
Category details and restrictions
You can use eBay standard envelope to ship trading cards, currency and coins, postcards, stamps, patches, stickers, decals, greeting cards, and seeds. Some of these categories have shipping recommendations in addition to the envelope requirements above:

·1 year agoYour issue is not going to be shipping them. Your issue is going to be eBay removing the listings for policy violations because they'll take down anything that can be used by someone to impersonate law enforcement. Don't list them here.
Look at what this seller went through and learn from it:

OP1 year agoI dont agree with your comment and it does not answer my question that was asked......i have bought and sold military & police items on here thousands of times... there are also THOUSANDS of active listings under these items....
The majority are military patches w some law enforcement... i am asking a simple question. Does ebay allow the standard shipping on them or not ??

·1 year agoIt is not really the patch - it is the category you have them in. eBay allows the standard envelope for certain CATEGORIES. They need to be in a PATCH category, i.e. "Military/patches" category.
