Can you be alerted by Ebay if a package has signature confirmation?
I've had shipments sent to me below the threshold amount that had signature confirmation, and I wasn't there so I had to drive to the post office to pick it up. I know Ebay gives you alerts that your item is out for delivery, can they give you an alert saying the package also requires a signature?

eBay can't warn you about signature required, but if you sign up for informed delivery, you can find out about it there before the delivery date.
You may also be able to sign for it electronically, in advance, so that they can deliver it normally. If available, you can do that from your informed delivery account with USPS.

Items $750 and up are required to have signature confirmation in order for the seller to be protected. It is up to the seller whether to use it for smaller purchases.
It may be an inconvenience to you, but you know what's a bigger inconvenience? Porch pirates.

A good seller should tell you this at the time of shipping. That is common courtesy
