Can I print a new label on an order that buyer already received 1st package. Metrics?
Hi: I sent a large combined order and left out one thing. Can I print another label on the order without penalty on my metrics? Or should I send not through ebay?

OP1 year agoSent it out priority mail today, not through ebay and buyer as been informed of tracking and second package. Should arrive within delivery estimate. Thanks

·1 year agoIf you buy another label and it is past your handling time @trip98 , the new label will overwrite the old label in terms of on-time shipping. So you'll get a late shipping mark and a mark on tracking uploaded on time & validated.
Better to buy the label off eBay (like through pirateship.com) if you are generating the label after your handling time lapsed.

OP1 year agoOkay, looked closely at the order shipping details . I sent it Dec 24th. Estimated arrival Jan 3-6th, but the first package has arrived. I found the extra ornament in my tissue bin today. I would rather send via ebay, so there is record it was received, but need to weigh that against shipping metrics. Or am I just being a nervous nancy and just send it directly. Sorry, I hate mistakes.

·1 year agoYou should ship it separately and notify the buyer that their purchase will be arriving in two packages; your message can include the second tracking number. Proof of a separate, second shipment will do you no no good at all with eBay if the buyer files a "not as described" claim.

·1 year agoLearned something new, again.... did not know the 2nd label overwrites the 1st label in shipping metrics.
Thanks for the clarification.

·1 year agoThat won't penalize your metrics to print another label. Just go ahead and ship it.
