CAN´T COMMUNICATE WITH THE SELLER
Hope you´re having a nice day.
I made a purchase July 11, it said that it would be shipped July 18.
I´ve been trying to get in contact with the seller but I haven´t got any answer.

·3 years agoWe need to cut to the chase here: What was the last estimated delivery date as seen in the listing where you made your purchase?

·3 years agoAlso the "order #" you offered here isn't the item #.
Or, if it actually is, there is a problem because I could not find it in current listings or in sold listings.

·3 years agoSeller is not required to respond to you nor is are they required to provide on line tracking
However you can open a refund claim IF you do not receive your order by the LAST ESTIMATED delivery date.
So your order may have already been shipped but you just have no tracking number for it.

·3 years agoI did not know this.
If we are not required to provide our buyers online tracking for their purchases, why are we required to supply it in our Seller Hub? Doesn't eBay automatically send it to the buyer?

Not all sellers purchase shipping labels via eBay.
Some other site label purchase auto link to eBay, some do not.

Tracking is not required. (until there is an issue)

I understand that but all sellers are required to supply the tracking number to eBay regardless of how they pay for shipping, and eBay is supposed to pass that info onto the buyer (at least I thought that was the point of supplying the tracking number).
If I purchase postage from the counter at the Post Office or purchase shipping from the counter at a FedEx or UPS shop, I'm required to manually enter the tracking number into the appropriate area - or I'll get a ding on my selling account.

·3 years ago@ltldpr - tracking #s are not required.
You may get a ding on your account but there is no "requirement" to have a tracking number.
You may want to start your own post on this issue???

The only time sellers are required to provide the tracking number is if a case is opened and it is asked for.
Item not received requests
If a buyer opens an item not received request, and you haven't already uploaded tracking, you will have 3 business days to upload tracking and respond to the buyer. In order to be protected from an "Item not received" claim, the tracking must be from one of the shipping carriers integrated with eBay and must show an acceptance scan to prove shipping.
Item not received requests will close automatically within 24 hours if tracking details show the item has been delivered to the buyer's ZIP code.
Both you and the buyer will get an email notification. The buyer will be able to ask eBay to step in within that 24 hours if they still haven't received the item.
Tip
If you buy and print labels on eBay, the order tracking number is uploaded automatically, and you could also save money on shipping.

·3 years agoNot providing "tracking" will keep a seller from being "top rated" (or staying top rated), but there is no "ding".
Tracking is not required. Some sellers ship items, and have done so for many years, without tracking as it is not cost effective to do so. Those sellers remain in good standing with eBay.
