calculated shipping error
I use calculated shipping. I did not change any dimensions or weight for an item sold. Why was the buyer charged $2 less than the shipping that I paid? And how can I get this corrected.

In order for you not to get caught up in losing money, you need to first check your invoice BEFORE buying the ebay label and see what the buyer paid in shipping vs your cost...in many cases the difference is 50- 80 cents...which hardly covers boxes, paper, printer ink and even worse if you have to drop off at the Postal Branch...so basically you are paying to have your item taken off your hands...great tax write off until you go out of business...If the calculator has not correctly increased the buyers cost but increased your cost...it falls under the "issue with buyers address" for cancelling an order, when you do so it is a good idea to send a letter of explanation to the buyer that ebay's automated shipping calculator is malfunctioning....ebay is aware as Thursday calling in to have them fix this they wrote an IT ticket and said they are getting MANY complaints concerning this matter. I cancelled 7 orders this morning.

·1 month ago@a_chard_kale_life Before we jump to there being an error - 99% of the time that isn't the case - please post the weight and size of the package as you entered it into the listing, along with the zip code the item was being shipped to.

·1 month agoThis same thing happened to me. I changed nothing in my calculated shipping and the customer paid $2 less than I am paying for shipping. When I look at their zip code through my listing the customer should have paid $2 more. There is some kind of error on Ebay side of shipping.
