Buyers don't see seller shipping options.
I always offer the eBay recommended shipping and "PARCEL USPS" options in every listing. WHY DON'T MY BUYERS SEE THIS OPTION ON MY LISTING? OR I'M I SUPPOSE TO CHANGE THE SHIPPING TO PARCEL WHEN THEY NOTIFY ME???

·3 years agoIn at least some of your listings you listed Priority as the first option so that’s what buyers see unless they scroll down and click on the shipping and payments tab. When setting up your listings, the first shipping option that you put in is the one that buyers will see when searching so you should put in the more economical one first.

OP2 years agoBut isn't it a bit of a price advantage to the seller if you list first what eBay "recommends"? I thought if eBay recommends "priority" first and I list advantage ground second choice I would get a price break on the shipping label I have to buy... Am I kidding myself???

·2 years agoPostage labels for both Priority Mail and Ground Advantage will cost less when purchased through eBay rather than at the Post Office counter. But those prices are not affected by the order in which the services appear in your listing.
I don't know what basis eBay uses for their recommendations, but if it's an item that a buyer might want in a hurry then Priority makes sense, but if it's not urgent, and especially itf it's heavy, then Ground Advantage would be more appealing.
