Buyers address is the authentication center in Jersey

Why would the authentication address buy an expensive item ? My gut said to cancel sale- Many negative feedback comments linked to this address on google.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.104View listings

When an item is sold and covered by the AG program, the seller never sees the buyer's address.

That's done purposely to prevent sellers (and buyers) from circumventing the authentication process.

Item sold leaves seller's address...goes to authentication address (New Jersey)...if it passes authentication...it goes to the buyer. If it doesn't pass it usually is returned to the seller.

Not a quick shipping process but I guess it works...during the crazy weather I suspect the process is probably longer.

Public records show that eBay started leasing all or part of that address in 2022.

Was your buyer from overseas? I ask because the identifier:

    evtn:nff57mz

Is similar to what I see when my items are shipped to the eIS hub in Illinois.

For those wondering, evtn = eBay Virtual Tracking Number

It's used when shipments go to a middleman, like the eBay International Shipping hub or the Authenticity Guarantee authenticator addresses.

Helps the hub link the physical package to the eBay order.

They are not the buyer. The item goes to them first and they then send it on to the buyer if it passes " muster ".

To further the conversation, the "Ship-to" address is not necessarily who bought the item....

In general, the buyer is irrelevant as far as your logistics are concerned. You ship to the address designated on the order/label page to comply with ebay seller protections. It is not always the buyer.

Your buyer purchased an item you listed that goes through eBay's authentication process. You ship to the authentication center, they evaluate the item for authenticity, and assuming they approve it, they forward it to the buyer.

    Read how it works:

    https://www.ebay.com/authenticity-guarantee

Specifically, it will go by the Streetwear authenticity guidelines:

    https://www.ebay.com/authenticity-guarantee/streetwear

View your listing and you'll see the Authenticity Guarantee badge on that Burberry trench coat.
