Buyer Wants To Change Shipping Address
I sold an item and the buyer requested I ship it to a different address. I've been asked before and always said no. This guy seems legit so I'm considering doing it.
My question is, the buyer paid $13.44 for UPS shipping. If I don't purchase the label through eBay and do it myself, do I just pocket the price they paid for the label? This may sound stoopid, but I've never thought about it before.
Surprisingly, shipping myself with UPS would only cost me a little over $1 more.
Thanks all!

·8 months agoIf you ship to a different address, you loose your seller protection. I would cancel the sale , refund and have him repurchase the item and input the correct address before payment. If he is legit, he will agree to this.
Evidence of successful delivery:
We require all of the following to prove a successful on-time delivery:
Tracking number from an integrated carrier which was uploaded to eBay and shows a shipping scan before the latest estimated delivery date;
A delivery status of "delivered" or "attempted delivery" (or equivalent in the country to which the item was delivered);
The date of delivery or attempted delivery;
The recipient's address, showing the zip code (or international equivalent) that matches the one on the Order details page.
