If you say you ship within 1 business day then you have to do that no matter what buyer asks of you. If they need delayed shipping then they shouldn't have ordered the item just yet or they need to have their mail held at post office

OP2 years agoBuyer asks for a week as he is away till then and cannot collect box. He wants me ton ship on 1-2-24 and has already paid. Thank you all for your input.

·2 years agoYou have economy shipping. Not sure what that is.
I only do tracking for expensive orders.
Not everything inexpensive order needs tracking.
I haven't had any complaints yet from buyers and haven't lost an item in the USA yet in the USA.
I guess most of my buyers expect there to be no tracking.
And items without tracking are arriving 4-5 days coast to coast...per my feedback.
So, just a question...if an item mailed that has no tracking...how can a seller get a "ding"?

·2 years agoWhat is your handling time and how long are they requesting the hold? Due to the weekend and holiday, you might be okay if the request isn't too far in the future. I'd sure hate to lose one of those last good sales you made.

There's not a way to do ^^^ this. Tell your buyer that you'll cancel the sale (Buyer requested) and will relist it for them. When they are ready, relist and ship it to them within your Handling Time. Good luck.

·2 years agoAdvise you have a set handling time and MUST ship out on your ship by date. I always advise that the buyer can do a free mail hold with their post office.
