Buyer not charged enough on calculated shipping?
Selling a large lot of sports cards. Overshot my dimensions and put 41x28x11 cm or 16x11x5 inches, 5kg total. Put my shipping method as regular parcel Canada post. I put these dimensions into Canada post and shipping will be $21.13 yet buyer only charged $13.33. Did I do something wrong? It's my first time using calculated shipping. Thanks for any help

·1 year agoHi @penguinspuustyfan - this is the US forum. For the best assistance you'll probably want to post on the CA forum where you'll find more people familiar with the Canada Post shipping options.

OP1 year agoI did read something about the discounted rate, honestly have no idea what it is, and I don't think I do get any discount through Ebay. I never buy labels off Ebay as they are way more expensive than other shipping methods for me. I will look into what you mentioned, thanks

·1 year agoIt sounds like you charged the buyer eBay's discounted shipping rate (I assume you get discounts similar to our USPS discounts). There is a setting to charge the buyer either retail rate or eBay's discount rate in the seller/shipping preferences. It only affects calculated shipping and may have been defaulted to discount. Check that setting.
