Buyer informed me that the item he bought was sent to an old/incorrect address
The buyer informed me that the item he bought from me was sent to his old address. He had not provided his new address. The package was refused by the occupant of his old address and is being returned to me. What do I do to get it to the buyer correctly when I receive it? How do I handle the shipping label and fees?

·5 months agoYou need to close out this transaction first. When you get the item back, refund less shipping costs, then relist. You can let the buyer know, it has been relisted. The buyer needs to update their ship to address, you can remind them of that, or completely ignore it and leave that for them to know

·5 months agoHere is what you do tell the buyer that once the package comes back to you then you will refund them and then you will relist the item at a higher cost to recoup your shipping cost. They will repurchase the item as a new transaction with there shipping address updated paying the higher priced plus whatever the new shipping cost is. Then you ship out to that new address.
