Buyer asked me to "hold" item for later shipping
A buyer purchasd a set of plates today - 09/22/2026 and has asked me to "hold" on shipping them as they will be away until after 10/04/2026. My listings promote that I ship within 2 days from the order date. How do I "hold" this shipment for the buyer without having the delay affect my "top rated seller" status? Thanks for any info you can provide. I've been selling for a little over a year...and still learning!

·3 weeks agoYou never want to hold a shipment. Tell buyer to have it held at his end or forwarded to a friend or neighbor. Otherwise buyer needs to request you cancel the transaction.
