Bought a car for parts out of state - don't need it shipped but Ebay won't let me pay
Per above, bought a car in MA and I life in NY. Won the auction but ebay states "Unfortunately, this seller won't ship this item to NY, United States. You can:
- Update your shipping address and try again.
Please contact the seller to request order total."
I don't need him to ship, I'll come get it.
I updated my shipping address to his but same error. How can I pay through Ebay or can I just Zelle him outside of Ebay?

OP3 weeks agoThank you. And I have no problem doing that or Zelle him. Some Ai tells me though that paying outside of eBay might flag me as a bad buyer since I’m not closing a deal on the platform and become “untrustworthy”.

·3 weeks agoNo, eBay allows pickup. I'm surprised the listing didn't state it though, especially on a parts car. Non-running cars are more expensive to ship...:)
As long as the seller paid the fees to list and sell it on eBay, that's really all eBay cares about-fee avoidance.
