Black Hole In Florida?
Buyer made a $732 dollar order to which they decided to only insure it for $100... so the package makes it to Miami Fl where it is supposedly sitting in a Distribution Center there. The address the person gave us to deliver to and is using on eBay is 7705 NW 46th St in Doral, FL 33166-5498... when I googled the address is that of Fenix Cargo & Logistics Company... which would be a 3rd party delivery service, that receives packages in the USA and sends it to other countries. This is apparently an eBay No-no... but they are siding with this buyer, even though we are able to prove that 1. It is indeed in Miami- somewhere, 2. that the person buying this item did not provide a legit mailing address, phone number or name, and finally -3. we are able to show that we are not the first people on eBay to fall into this black hole in Florida where a package will just say its going to be late and never updates.
Ebay so far has not sided with us, despite all the proof and we are now out $732 both in the money and product... as we are unable to intercept and have returned.
Does anyone have any kind of suggestions?

As far as I know, us sellers are responsible for providing insurance, it's not the buyer's responsibility.

·10 months agoThis address bought 2 things from me that were returned by USPS because the address was wrong. Ebay sided with them. They tried again when I re listed the same item. I canceled & blocked. It is crazy that keeps happening.

Tracking has to show it was delivered.

Can you post the Tracking Number?
There seems to be a few re-shippers in the Miami area. I have sent several items to them and have never had a problem.

·1 year agoYou are being bamboozled. That item was already in all likelihood delivered to the freight forward service. The buyers know this. As soon as you see these freight transactions arrive to Miami you must open a case. You may get a retroactive delivery scan but in all likelihood you will get a prompt that tells you the item has been delivered to a freight forwarder.
eBay has been warned about this numerous times by just by me, let alone others, but continues to let sellers get fleeced. Why?
Buyers using freight forwarding service is not an eBay no no. Please provide a link to the policy that you think states this.
Did you upload tracking into the case to show delivery to the freight forwarding service? If you didn't that would be why the buyer won the INR.

·1 year agoYou are responsible for delivery to Florida...not the buyer's country.
Did buyer open a claim? If no claim open...then there's nothing to do yet.
Are 'those funds on hold'?
Buyer doesn't need to buy extra insurance.
Sometimes an item will sit until there are a number of packages going to the buyer and / or his country.
This is normal.
Check eBay buyer country in their 'feedback'.
