As a seller, can I ship to a different, non-eBay address?
A Chinese eBayer sent me an offer for an expensive book and wants me to ship it to a different, outside China, non-eBay address because I am afraid to ship to China, not to mention that his address is not fully described, just District, Beijing, China - no street, no number, no phone.
I would appreciate any help to be smarter with such cases.

·2 years agoCurious, as a seller are you able to sell to USA?....or are you allowed to sell just to other certain countries?
My buyers from Israel cannot buy from me because Israel is currently a blocked country.

OP2 years agoBecause my coutry, Israel, is now at war, some parcels do arrive late but I don't see any paricular problem selling to/buying from the U.S. Israel is not postally blocked. Parcels go out and go in as usual.

·2 years agoShipping an item to an address other than the address eBay tells you to ship it to will void your eBay seller protection if the buyer opens an item not received case, this holds true even if your buyer asks you to ship the item to a different address and you can prove delivery to that address. Buyers can change the address they want the item shipped to when they pay. If your buyer hasn't paid yet they can still cange the address, if they have paid you'll have to cancel the current transaction, relist the item and have the buyer purchase the item again/change the address when they pay.

·2 years agoA seller should ship to whatever address their buyer chooses to attach to their payment. There's even a "Change" link right on the checkout page. I use this option to ship gifts directly to family members.
