Aquiline Tracking BEWARE
Resurrecting a post that had identified undesirable results from Sellers using Aquiline Tracking / Shipping for US based purchases. I made a purchase on July 20, 2023 and after the financial transaction processed received shipping information that the order was being handled by Aquiline which immediately raised concern as it was not a logistics company that was familiar to me based on any online purchases. The expected delivery dates also were extended from the initial estimation and ranged over a period of 5 days. Given this additional information I suspect this item is being sourced from outside the USA which is never my desire or intention.
Googled Aquiline and found out its a company based in UAE. Searched eBay and found a closed thread populated from Buyers experiences with Sellers, many reported to eBay, using Aquiline Tracking with less then acceptable results. Re checked Seller profile, which linked to a store front that was Israeli based . This was another red flag as Israeli based Sellers using Aquiline Tracking were identified in prior post. Sellers eBay alias has a -0 on the end which was also reported in the previous thread. Lots of red flags on this order. I will say that when I have gotten eBay involved I have always had a positive and prompt result. However, if this is a scam and its been going on for more than a year then eBay should have had plenty of time to put the necessary controls in place to eliminate such scams.
We will see how this turns out for me in the coming week. I have sent a message to the Seller to give them a chance to provide a logical explanation and will take it to eBay if I get no response or one that is not satisfactory. My expectations of receiving what was actually ordered are not too high so in the future I will request shipping company information from the Sellers before making any purchases on eBay.

·3 years agoI have recent experience of Aquiline-never heard of them before. On 30th July, they marked an item delivered to me on 26th July (4 days after delivery? Really?). It wasn't. They are impossible to contact. Sellers who use Aquiline should be avoided-it appears to be a scam that Ebay needs to take note of.
Item not received case started-the seller has not responded to messages before I raised the case, so may be part of some scam.
Overall, I've started to have more problems from dishonest sellers on Ebay. Shame.

·3 years agoThe good thing is that ebay has been cracking down on international sellers who are dropshipping from Amazon. Your seller in Israel appears to be doing that. Also, keep in mind that while 97% is a great test score in high school, it's not a good feedback score.

OP3 years agoUpdate, item arrived July 25th and was delivered by Amazon. The Aquiline Tracking is useless as it showed the package being accepted but nothing more. In the Amazon envelope were 2 documents one "A gift for you" , ie Gift Receipt from Seller and the other a description of the item and instructions for making a return. When I check the storefront that was linked to the Sellers alias on July 25th it had been taken down. I have requested a return and notified eBay of the breach in their policy. Let see where this leads.

·3 years agoMake sure you follow EBAY policies for returning item not as described claims. Do not use the instructions sent in the envelope. File as missing parts.

·3 years agoThe item is probably being dropshipped from Amazon.
Amazon dropshippers use Aquiline to get a tracking number that can be tracked when they dropship from Amazon.

·3 years agoSave yourself a lot of headaches, cancel the purchase, if it does not show that it has been already mailed.
