April 2026 What the heck is UniUni and why is Ebay allowing such a crappy currier service as them?

Summary: The discussion centers on dissatisfaction with a courier service, which participants describe as having poor customer support and unreliable delivery practices. donofthedesert expresses frustration over insufficient oversight, highlighting the service's perceived legitimacy by a major platform. slaybell43 and martys_used_stuff share personal negative experiences, citing lost or mishandled packages and ineffective customer support channels. kibble-net emphasizes the need for buyers to research individual sellers' shipping policies on eBay, suggesting due diligence as a solution. Meanwhile, oldspacetoys strongly advises against using the criticized courier due to ongoing delivery issues.

April 2026!!! Has anyone else on here in the USA (or wherever) had problems with a delivery service called UniUni? They actually had the nerve to drop my package off at a store near me instead of my home (my address is clearly visible) and mark it as delivered!!!  A customer of that store (who actually saw and overheard my package being lazily dropped off to store employees at the wrong address) was actually kind enough to walk over to my house and tell me where my package was located. This was someone I had never even met.......AI even says UniUni has "overwhelmingly negative customer reviews" and I can't believe Ebay would use or continue to use such a shoddy, bottom of the barrel, and lazy service. Also, my package was bent, bending what was inside.

UNIUNI SHIPPING ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. ZERO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. NO PHONE NUMBER. NO LIVE HELP. PRE-PROGRAMMED CHAT BOT WHERE YOU CAN NOT TYPE IN YOUR OWN RESPONSE. YOU CAN ONLY PICK FROM AN EXTREMELY LIMITED CHOICE OF ISSUES WITH NO WAY TO GET TO A LIVE REPRESENTATIVE. STAY AWAY FROM UNIUNI SHIPPING COURIER . DO NOT USE. PACKAGE HAS BEEN MARKED AS OUT FOR DELIVERY FOR 6 DAYS. THEY CLAIM 72 HOURS AFTER MARKED OUT FOR DELIVERY. NO UPDATE. NO MOVEMENT. NO PACKAGE. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Ebay is a MARKETPLACE. They are not a single vendor of everything. When you buy on ebay, you're buying from an individual seller who has their own shipping policies.

Read the feedback of the seller you're buying from before you buy from them. Better yet, ASK THEM what shipping service they use. Read the listing. Do your due diligence.

If that's asking too much, then buy somewhere else where you'll have to do the same exact thing.

I have had extremely poor service from Uniuni. I had one order go missing in their Dallas warehouse (not an Ebay pkg). I tried their Chat, it will only direct you to tracking. I tried leaving a message in FB messenger, no response. I tried calling customer service and was directed to their support chat, no way to get a live person. I even tried emailing their support department and received a return email stating that the email was not monitored!

I then contacted my shipper, who replaced the order. I did receive that replacement today. The driver claimed they left my package by the front door, but by their own delivery picture it was left in an unsecured location by our front fence/driveway. (Approximately 60 yards from the front door.)

Other packages were thrown in the yard by the driveway, still only halfway to the front door.

I found there warehouse in Dallas, I found a phone number for this address but it was the previous tenant from this address. The weird thing is that they leased it in 2023, with no outside signage no phone number ? I posted some pics of there so called customer service BOT.

I guess I got lucy third time is a charm, at my front gate on a rock I found my uniuni package, no one called me from the note I posted on the keypad I guess the drivers they hire cannot use a phone or just lazy, thankfully no one ran over the package or stole it, and it was no where near my home about 150ft i guess. also I personally contacted several sellers in China and asked them to change there shipping and the ones who got back to me have absolutely on intention of shipping any other way than uniuni, one seller claimed he had no way of changing the logistics of there shippers ..... So I say SO LONG CHINA

I've had a couple of AliExpress parcels shipped at the last mile with UniUni.   One was left in front of my neighbor's garage, and marked as delivered to my front door.  Thankfully I caught it before my neighbor drove his car over it.   The second delivery was left at my door properly.

Ebay does not dictate which shipping service sellers can use, that's something you have to check with the seller before you purchase. Read the reviews, ask questions, read listings.

UniUni has about a 50% success rate of deliverying to me. Once delivered to the wrong address and twice they said packaged refused by customer which is an outright lie, they just drop package by front door, they do not talk to the customers. It is not worth my time to fight with their customer service evey time they have a package for me. I now message buyers to make sure they do not use UNIUNI before I purchase.

Yea - that's where I'm at. It's pathetic how little oversight there is on this entire issue.

Yes! Bought an item with item location given as Baldwin Park, California. Tracking though is from Uni Uni, a carrier that is widely used by sellers in CHINA. I contacted the seller, asked why they didn't use USPS, etc. if the item is in California (I'm in Massachusetts) and got a reply at 2 am, my time. The seller, in China, avoided answering, only said "Don't worry, be happy!" To date, the Uni Uni tracking is still vague. The item is "moving", "arrived" someplace, but no city names are given. Uni Uni is notorious for losing packages, not delivering, mis-delivering. The real insult is the seller lying about the item location, and I know from experience that reporting this will do nothing, especially if a seller is a high volume seller. I hope I get what I bought, the money back guarantee is nice, but I don't buy on eBay to get my money back , I buy to get what I buy. Will leave feedback accordingly.

UniUni carriers are gig workers, and as such, offer a wildly varying quality of service.

I'm in the same boat. I have a nearly $700 package that's been stuck in Miami since 5/2/26. I have filed a complaint with my State Attorney General as well as the BBB. I heard quite a few had success getting their packages delivered after getting the BBB involved.

My package was delivered empty.  Nothing inside it, the flap was open at some point in the delivery process.  Seller shipped it at 93grams and paid the shipping cost accordingly.  By time I got it, it was just the bubble pack weighing in at 12 grams.   The UNiUni photos appear to show a delivered package, but it was just an empty bubble pack.  Uni Uni said they would investigate.  Next message I get is case closed, with no result of the "investigation".  Escalated to Ebay, ebay closed the case too.   Money back guarantee by Ebay?    I have been a very long time buyer and seller with Ebay and have NEVER had such a disturbing transaction.  No one is taking responsibility.

Ebay didn't use them, the seller did.

Your order is probably being dropshipped from Aliexpress, TEMU or one of those other Chinese sites.

Not sure why you think that's a newflash for anyone. The problem is that these services are offered as legitimate services BY e-bay, and treated as such in disputes. That's a patently obvious fact.
