Anyone know how to combine items that are discounted into one shipment??? | Shipping

I'm sure this has been asked before but I have found no answer so far. I made 4 sales which added up to a nice amount for me. The buyer contacted me prior to sending offers to make sure I combine shipping which I do. We agreed on a discount which they sent in offers on 4 items. I accepted the 4 offers but now the "sales that aren't actually sales" have falling into a rabbit hole on my end. I don't see them so can't combine because they are "still active listings" until the buyer pays. Buyer says they can't find anywhere to request a combined shipment or shipping amount. I don't buy that much stuff so I have never experienced this from a buyer prospective. I am going to lose the sales due to this because the buyer isn't inclined to pay that much more and get a refund, I can't even predict what the shipping cost or refund will be without the sales having been completed for me to see. I don't not have the option toggle set to require immediate payment either on any sales. What can be done?
