I've verified that I have shipped 40 various orders to this 15617 NE Airport Way Portland OR Freight Forwarder (Chongqing Zhonghuan International Freight Agency Inc) during the past year.

Today, I received a message from a buyer saying that there is a problem with the FF Company. She then immediately opened an Item Not Received case.

Buyer stats: "Jul 20

Buyer didn't receive the item

"Due to the announcement by the US forwarding company to cease operations,all goods transported to this address have ceased operation.At present,and the company has made it clear that we will not be able to receive the goods.""

However, USPS Tracking and eBay shows: "July 17 DELIVERED INDIVIDUAL PICKED UP AT USPS PORTLAND, OR 97230""

I found the FF website and had Google translate the site to English. Apparently, the FF has suspended operations in the USA (Portland) and Australia (Sydney) since July 14th.

The website UPDATES states:

I have been having trouble with certain Portland OR re-shippers address. I just looked up my last item that is lost in transit (as of today) and it is 15617 NE Airport Way.

So here has been my problem: it goes along its way until it reaches the Portland Regional facility zip 97230, then there is no more tracking. This has happened several times, and will investigate if this is the address that it has been happening to for several lost packages I have sent.

The shipping company is called Chongqing Zhonghuan International Freight Agency Inc. (as found on Google maps). When I looked at the google ground view it looks familiar, so I think it is the same in the past I have had problems with.

So here is my suspicion. Either the local post office that delivers directly to the agency has their head up their butt, or as I highly suspect.... there is a mail carrier out of the local post office that is NOT SCANNING the packages that arrive to/ or leave from its office and so the package disappears from tracking. Why? Here is my theory.... the Agency is in kahoots with a carrier to NOT scan the item and it probably does reach the buyer in CHINA and the buyer files a lost package and gets their money back (but has the item), possibly pays the carrier some of the refund, and what does the carrier get? Possibly a regular monthly kickback for being party to the scam.

There seems to be protection for sellers in this new International shipping program only for direct Chinese addresses that go through ebays shipping hub. So we are screwed with re-shipping addresses.

I looked up the address on Google Maps, and the address they gave is incorrect. "Copy Street" is incorrect.

You need to cancel the order - Problem with Buyer's Address.

I'm pretty sure that "Copy street" shouldn't be in there.

You didn't explain what kind of trouble you were having, but if it's because USPS doesn't recognize the address, you could try just deleting those two words.

However, changing the address could nullify your seller protection through eBay, so it would be best not to purchase the postage through eBay, so they don't know about the change. Alternatively, you'll he to cancel the transaction based on "Problem with buyer's address;" explain this to the buyer and ask then to re-purchase the item with a more accurate address.

I didn't have copy street in the address. I copied and pasted it into this question. Tracking shows arriving late for about two weeks.
