Am I out of luck with these misdelivered packages?
I had a few packages that didn’t make it to me.
On Thursday, USPS listed a package as delivered. It showed it as delivered to a locker (my apartment complex uses lockers). I never actually received this package.
I had two packages listed as delivered by UPS. Tracking showed as MET CUSTOMER. But one of the packages was actually delivered to my locker. The second package i never received.
im pretty sure I can’t make a claim with UPS or USPS since im not the shipper. These were two different sellers and i dont believe there was foul play on their part.
Am i out of luck? If im a seller, and package says delivered, im not gonna waste my time tracking a miss delivered package if i already got paid. What can i do? I mean, it almost sounds questionable that i got one package and not the other two.

And that means you need to contact USPS. They should have evidence of where it was actually delivered.

·2 years agoAgree with Dirk........since it's lockers.......and you may not easily catch the delivery person......I'd go see the postmaster (since you say it is USPS).......USPS definitely wants to know when things go wrong. Could be an employee problem...........
Not much the seller can do about it, except do the same, but questions coming from a local may be more incentive for PM to act. If he tries to slough you off, I'd contact the on line help.......

·2 years agoContact/ask the carriers; a 'locker' could easily be put in the wrong one by the carrier. As far as 'what is stated' on the 'delivered'- is meaningless as many times their 'gun/phone' is just on a wrong setting

That'd be step #1
Step #2 would be asking the delivery person's supervisor the same question.

·2 years agoIMMEDIATELY button hole your UPS manager with the tracking number. Every town is different of course but here we have both a retail UPS store and a local UPS sorting facility.
The scanners they use are GSP enabled and they can tell you exactly where the package was delivered. Even to the point of, if this is the case, being delivered to the wrong address.
If in fact it was delivered correctly then you file a stolen package report. If incorrectly put the onus on them to retrieve it. Especially the one "met customer".
