2 cases of item not received in South Africa. Similar addresses. Coincidence or Scam?
Two seperate 'item not received' cases raised by buyers in South Africa.
- Both items were sold under the Global Shipping Programme. Sales were approx 5 weeks apart.
- Both items were shown as delivered according to Pitney Bowes tracking
- Both cases were settled by eBay with no action to the seller (me) and the buyer refunded
The postal address for buyer 1 is only 15min away from buyer2. Perhaps this is pure coincidence or could it be a scam? Has anybody had a similar experience?
In both cases eBay customer service stood by their policy. They view both the buyer and seller as 100% trusted eBay customers. However it has put me off from using GSP in future, or at least I will not ship to South Africa.

·4 months agoIf there's tracking proving delivery to the GSP address, why would a seller be required to refund?
The issue of two different buyers living near each other is incidental. What part of that indicates a scam?
