1 item, 2 boxes, how to find out shipping price
I would like to sell 2 large lamps as a pair of 2 and they need to be packed in 2 separate boxes. I do not know how to enter the estimated shipping cost with the ebay discount shipping on the listing to reflect this.

·4 months agoEbay will only calculate the weight and whatever single box you put in. You need to figure out what two boxes will cost, need to estimate that with dimensional weight , not actual weight. Then charge flat rate. I would figure out what is cost to ship to the furthest zone. The I purchased by a buyer in a closer zone offer a partial refund for the shipping difference.
Btw, lamp shades are costly to ship cuz of the size of box needed, they are always larger than you think...unless you have tiny ones, but then those could go in one box

·4 months ago2 separate boxes need two separate tracking numbers...and should be different.
'estimated shipping cost'...I would just ship them while telling buyer I would refund the difference.
Just my thoughts...but that is what I would do.
