1 day shipping option and Holidays
Hi,
I have a one day shipping option in my store, I either ship same day or next day after payment.
I have noticed that eBay now ignores Holidays in the notification "Buyer paid - ship by 'day, date'."
During Easter I got notification to ship orders on Holidays and today, I got a notification on ordes paid today. the 30 of April to be shipped by 1 of May (Holiday here in Norway). If I do not ship on those Holidays, that is impossible due to closed post office, I will have the "shipment - overdue" message.
I think eBay took this into consideration earlier, and set the ship date to first working day based on your location. This should be fixed, because I guess you get a deficit on your account when it is "shipment - overdue", even "the ship by" was set to a Holiday?
I see that I can not contact eBay any longer, by messages nor phone calls. It is getting more difficult to be a store on eBay (I have since 2000, for 24 years).
Any tips or help is appreciated, many thanks in advance.

·2 years agoeBay.com is based in the United States. Your comments indicate that they currently recognize only US holidays, although in the past they have noted local national holidays, as of course they should.
Until this oversight is corrected, the most prudent strategy would be to revise your handling time when there is a holiday coming up which is observed in Norway but not in the US. Here's a link to the US postal holidays, which is eBay's official holiday schedule:

Yes, eBay should really fix this again, including national holidays. But, I guess I can not speak to them directly anymore about my concern. And they fixing it, I have not too much hope about that to be honest.
