15-Year Seller Can't Get Developer Account Approved, Need Help
I'm hoping someone from eBay can help me out. I've been selling on eBay for 15 years with 100% positive feedback and have never had any account issues. I'm trying to register for the Developer Program so I can build a simple private tool to manage my own listings, but my application keeps getting rejected.
I've already:
- Submitted the appeal form multiple times
- Called eBay seller support and was escalated to a supervisor
- Been redirected back to developer support with no resolution
I'm not building anything for commercial use just a personal tool for my own seller account. I can't imagine why a seller with my history would be flagged.
Is there anyone here who can point me to someone at eBay who can actually review my case? I'd really appreciate any help or advice from the community.

OP5 months agoThis is now resolved. I signed up with a different business email and they approved it.
