Your account is under review (10 days)
Hello!
Last month I joined eBay because I want to start selling some items.
I registered with Payoneer, verified my account, and linked it to my eBay account.
I also sent eBay Support a photo of my Japanese driver’s license and my Japanese family register for verification.
When I tried to list my first item, I received this message:
“We’re unable to verify your identity at this time. Please contact us and then come back to this page and click Continue to proceed.â€
A support member told me the issue was caused by my phone number being British while my address was Japanese.
I updated my phone number to my Japanese number, and they confirmed that my account was now fully verified.
However, when I tried listing again, I got the same error followed by this message in my eBay inbox:
“Your account is under review.â€
The review process may take up to 5 business days. During our review, you’ll see a banner under your account’s Payments tab indicating a payout hold.
We’ll reach out to you if we have any follow-up questions. If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch. We’re here to help.
It has now been 10 business days, and I’ve sent three emails with no response (not even an automatic confirmation copy, which is unusual).
What can I do at this point, just wait it out and hope for a reply?
Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.
