Wrongly removed listing for authentic item - Need help from eBay Community Team
Summary: an_136187 is seeking assistance after their listing for an authentic sweatshirt was removed by eBay for being flagged as counterfeit. They have supporting documents for the item's authenticity but are unable to resolve the issue through eBay's automated system. Other participants shared similar frustrations with eBay's AI errors and cautioned against relisting, as it could lead to account termination. Community members noted their limited ability to assist, suggesting exploring other selling platforms as an alternative.
Hello everyone and eBay Community leaders,My listing for a sweatshirt was recently removed by eBay because it was flagged as counterfeit. However, I want to state clearly that this item is 100% authentic.I highly respect eBay’s policies and would never list fake merchandise. I have direct proof of authenticity on my hands, including the original store receipt and clear photos of all internal tags/labels, batch codes, and logos.Unfortunately, the automated chat bot on the Help page doesn't connect me with a live agent to submit my proofs, and my appeals get stuck.
Could any of the eBay Community Staff/Moderators please look into this case or provide a secure link where I can upload my authenticity documents?Thank you so much for your support.

·2 weeks agoAt the top and bottom of every page in Ebay are links to contact Customer Service.
You should save this information as it can come in handy from time to time. At the very bottom is a link in which you can request Ebay to call you.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT or ask an Agent to call you, in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

From this link you can request Ebay to call you in the USA. The option is available when Staff is available to respond, so NOT 24/7/365.

·2 weeks agoSorry this happened to you, I know how frustrating it can be.
Sounds like your item was flagged by EBAY Ai bots. Do not relist this item because this will cause your account to be terminated.
Everyone is complaining that EBAY Ai bots make mistakes but EBAY does nothing to correct this problem.

Once eBay has decided the item is counterfeit and removed the listing .... dont try to relist.
Sell it somewhere else.

·2 weeks agoIts a waste of time, I could not convince ebay AI that a 1" diameter panel mount indicator light was not a police car red light.
