Wondering why items aren't selling? Check your shipping prices...
I find it really interesting that I run into a lot of sellers who still use priority mail for larger items, when ground advantage has been a thing for 3 years now.
Playing around with the shipping calculator on orders awaiting shipment, Priority Mail is upwards of double the price for many shipments.

·1 month agoSales have been "sorta somewhat" good here for the last month or so for the small lightweight stuff.
I have free shipping on my listings.
When the rates increased....everybody that had calculated shipping in their listings...their items got more expensive.
Been selling more than normal amount of this small stuff.
Taking a shipping hit on it, but it's cheaper than promoting it. And most of this stuff has been here years taking up space.

·1 month agoI'm finding it's not. When someone wants me to upgrade their shipping from GA to Priority, I just tell them they're paying extra for nothing. My delays are caused between Canada and the US, no sense in trying to make it go one day faster after it crosses the border. I simply will not agree to meet a shipping schedule of a buyer since it blows up in my face every single time.

·1 month agoIt never has been. It was rarely faster than First Class Package too. It's basically been a useless up charge, unless you're fitting a lot of weight into a flat rate box, since delivery confirmation on FCP became a thing.
