Will VeRO strike you for banned keywords in the item specifics or description.
So from my understanding if I am selling a car part that can fit in a Honda, Toyota, and Porsche I can get a VeRO strike for putting "Fits Honda, Toyota, and Porsche" in my title. So my question is, can I get a VeRO strike for putting Toyota, Honda, or Porsche when they ask for the model it fits in the item specifics? Or can I get a VeRO for putting that in my description?

·3 years agoIf a car part fits three (very) different OEMs like that, then it would be a universal-fit part.
You can't use the word "fits" and any OEM brand name for a universal-fit item.

Here is more information that is specifically relevant for your example.
If a car part fits three (very) different OEMs like that, then it would be a universal-fit part. If it fit a few specific models from one OEM, then you could use the model names, in the Parts Compatibility feature, not in the title.
You can't use the word "fits" and any OEM brand name for a universal-fit item.

·3 years agoNo, but you can get a warning from Ebay. This is called Keyword Spamming / Search manipulation. In the title you are NOT allowed to put in a brand name if the item you are selling is NOT that brand.
In your description you can say FITS Honda, Toyota, etc. But don't do it in the title.
