why taking away partial refund tools? this does not make sense
I sell on ebay and Amazon at the same time. I know ebay been supportive all these years but speaking of returning, amazon does it better...
I had partial refund tools for no problem over the years but recently I lost it. I filed a complaint about an absolute scam on the return, and called ebay help, but then took away my partial refund tools for all of my returns. messaged support then gave me a useless answer.
eBay should NOT take away the partial refund tools, if a buyer returned a used item, they should have known and not gotten their full refund back, somehow ebay system managed to refund the rest to the buyer on their behalf, but then warn us of abusing the return program by taking partial refund.....
to be honest, eBay does not NEED to reimburse the buyer, because when you do this, the buyer just scamming the system even more. Amazon has a return system that never does that.

·2 years agoWhen you do partial refunds, are you following the partial refund guidelines that eBay gives on this policy page (under the "Guidelines for how much to deduct from the refund"), and documenting the damage? eBay does not allow us, typically, to deduct the full value of the damage, only part of the damage according to the grades of good, fair and poor.
