Why so many items being listed in totally incorrect categories? Consorted effort to destroy eBay?
I continue to notice sellers listing incorrect items in the US coins/gold categories. I just searched and found car air filters, knee braces, toilet paper, coat hangers, diffuser oils, bottled water, printer stands, coffee pods to Doritos all listed in US Gold, $20 gold, and more. This has been going on for a couple of weeks now. The majority of sellers are in Denver, and they have different eBay IDs. Most have a very low number of FB, mostly under 20. These are not just a few sellers but hundreds. A couple of things are possible here. It could be seller errors, sellers listing in other categories on purpose, or an eBay search that is a mess. A final thought would be that there is a consorted effort to destroy eBay by China or another online selling venue. Whatever the reason, eBay is not paying attention to this increasing problem. We, as sellers, pay fees to have eBay provide a platform to sell on. That means eBay is responsible for ensuring that everyone abides by their rules. I just don't get it.

·1 year agoI would bet that some sellers use them for the possible Sales Tax implications or FVF advantages.
Others just don't know what they are doing.
