Why our items don't sell
They don't exist anymore - I guess ebay decided we didn't want to re-list them anymore so - poof - gone.
We sell cassette tapes. Got some Maxell - Easiest way to list is sell similar our own listing from unsold page - But there are no Maxell coming up - There are three boxes marked Maxell on our shelf with lot's of cassettes taped together in 'listed together' grouping ... but none active or on unsold list. The TDK and Sony and ...are there and on ebay, just no Maxell.
From what's taped together there should be 17 Maxell tape listing on the unsold page.
Haven't spot checked anything else.

·1 year agoIt sounds like your past listing(s) for Maxell aged off either your Sold or Unsold pages. I think the maximum retention period for either is 4 months, give or take a month.
One option that might help to prevent having to make a new Maxell listing from scratch might be to see if Worthpoint.com has your older listings archived. Quickest way to search for your old listing is by using most or all of your original listing title, then scroll through the results until you spot your photos. You can then extract your description text and maybe your photos as well, and create a new listing using that as a starting point.
As for where to find your original listing title, you can probably find a reference to it in old notifications that eBay would have sent to the email account tied to your eBay selling account.
That's the routine I use in cases where I turn up something similar to an item I sold long ago, and I can pull portions of my previous listing from the Worthpoint archive to use as a starting point.

Ebay removes unsold items after 90 days. Chances are your 90 days has expired so that would be correct the listings have disappeared.

OP1 year agoSorry - left out two things -
Our unsold is set to show oldest first - when 'it' get to the top of the list it's relisted. 'It' would be part of a group of 50 or so that all ended the same day. The group gets relisted with XX new listings added.
Nothing is left to time out.
All brands of cassette tapes are relisted in two groups - sealed or used - two weeks apart.
So all used relisted the 1st week of month, new on 3th. So to time out it would be 'used' first then new 14 days later.
