Auctions are different.

I saw necklaces starting at .99 going above $1000. with no authenticity guarantee so should be the same for shoes.

For a follow up, the Authenticity Guarantee was added after the auction went past $75.

Thank you for the update, eBay probably should change the wording in their document as the starting price doesn't necessarily need to start at 75.

In the event that it isn't enabled once it hits $75, I assume I could cancel and relist, with a starting bid of $75? Haven't cancelled a listing in years, but I imagine that is straight forwards....

You have to be careful of ending a listing early when it has bids as ebay may charge you an fvf.

Yes, I believe authenticity guarantee wont be available for this listing like other have said the starting price.

Basically adding it later would mean altering the terms of the original listing which didn't have it applied.

So in order to have it you need to start your listing at $75.

At least that's my interpretation.

Will the authenticity guarantee be added once bidding reaches $75, or did I need to have a starting price of at least $75?

Thanks, yes, I see that's how it's worded:

Sneakers priced starting at $75 (with the exception of sneakers listed in the baby shoes category, with eligibility starting at $100)

... but I'll let it run just to see if it gets enabled after it hits $75. After looking at some other listings, I think this is the case.

I think that you are right. This listing started at .99 and is now at $112.50 with AG.
