I PAY YOU FOR ADVERTISING AND YOU SIMPLY GUARANTEE BUYERS THAT THEY GET WHAT THEY SEE OR THEIR MONEY BACK???? IF THEY CAN'T SEE THE AD LISTED AS NO DOLL, NO DOLL, NO DOLL NO RETURNS IN 4 DIFFERENT PLACES IN A SPECIFIC AD, YOU HOLD PREJUDICE AND BIAS FOR THEM EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE NEGLIGENT AND ASSUME WHAT THEY ARE GETTING. CONSEQUENTLY, THEY HAVE A FRIVOLOUS CLAIM AS THOUGH THEY CANNOT READ; SIMILAR TO A CHILD WANTING ALL THE CANDY IN A DISPLAY. REFUND MY MONEY IMMEDIATE.LY.YOU KNOW WHAT, I EVEN GAVE THE BUYER WHAT SHE SAW. REPAY ME NOW

·3 years agoWow, I just looked at your active listings. It would be smart to re-evaluate them entirely. Those descriptions are shocking.
If you want help on how to craft a solid listing (and are willing to take others' advice without yelling at us and putting us down) then let us know.
As you are finding out buyers don’t read descriptions they look at pictures. If your pictures show a doll the buyer expects to receive a doll. So exclude the doll if you’re not selling the doll to go along with your doohickey.

·3 years agoDid you realize @uchose1 that you listed the dress in the "Dolls & Doll Playsets" category instead of the "Doll Clothes & Accessories" category?
The last photo appears to be of naked doll parts, not doll clothing?
Despite saying "no doll" in 2 places, there are other places where one could easily believe the doll was included. Your listing was confusing at best. For a $350 item it's important to avoid conflicting information - actually, that's important for any item.

Common Wisdom about selling anything on eBay is that the seller should do two things:
(1) describe the Thing as if there were no photos, size, colors, etc., AND
(2) post photos that show those details about the Thing, as if there were no description.
If you want to sell only a very small cameo brooch/pin to be worn by a doll - - - - -
you, as the seller, need to figure out a way to take a picture of that cameo brooch/pin only.
The photos in your listing should show ONLY that brooch/pin, on a plain white or light colored background. Plain white paper towels would be acceptable. Do not show the pin being "worn" by a doll.
And your description should only be about the brooch/pin itself. The description you currently have is the same rant about "no doll, no doll, no doll", in all-caps (yelling). Honestly, if I had $300.00 that I was willing to pay for a pin that is so small it can be worn by a doll, and I read that description, I would hit the back-arrow so fast my monitor might fall off the desk.

·3 years agoUse this as a lesson for future listings. You show the doll in the main photo. You actually show the doll in not one but three of the four photos in your listing= 75%. Photos are a part of the description. The item specifics says under TYPE: fashion DOLL and DOLL gender: girl DOLL. If your listing was only for the dress you certainly highlighted the doll in numerous places. The majority of buyers are now using their mobile phones to order and the windows are notoriously small. Sellers need to make listings EASY for buyers to read, not more confusing by showing multiple photos of an item not actually for sale. This platform is protecting buyers, no you do not deserve a refund....

As you have now learned, when your buyer files a "Not as described" claim, they will almost always win. Whether you continue to use the site from now on is entirely up to you.

Guaranteeing buyers, they will be refunded if sellers show items not actually for sale is the backbone of this platform.
