Why is it?
From time to time I get an offer on an item. I accept the offer, then instead of getting paid, it all disappears as though it never happened and with no explanation.

OP1 month agoSo, three days later item shows back up as "paid". I guess that even though, "instant payment" is required, some payment methods are less than "instant" in being approved, which perhaps is the answer to the mystery.

OP1 month agoNot sure. I thought that you made that decision for each individual item as it was listed.
This last case of an offer disappearing happened when I accepted a counteroffer. It used to be that unpaid items would show up in, "awaiting payment" and you could send an invoice to slow-payers. I'm assuming that this is no longer the case.

·1 month ago · Editedquite awhile back, ebay defaulted seller accounts to have buyers input their payment method b4 they could purchase, make an offer, etc on an item
your account should have been defaulted to this
sellers have to manually opt out and keep the old school method, where they wait up to the 4 days
maybe this has changed, let me check my account
so it's still the same

^^ You're right, @stuff*and*nonsense ... but with Offers, they remain Active until paid for.
