Why is ebay charging me more for shipping than I selected?
I just sold an item for $7.50 so I selected the ebay $1.25 shipping. The buyer selected this shipping option and was therefore charged $1.25. I printed out the label and shipped it. I just got the breakdown from ebay and it is deducting $2.50 instead of the $1.25 that I am CERTAIN I selected. (I know it's a minimal amount but when the item is under $10 it makes quite a difference. )
Can anyone explain this?

·2 years agoDoes that bubble gum sticker qualify for that type of postage? I thought it was reserved for sports cards. I don't sell in this category, so I could be wrong.

·2 years agoThere are 8 categories for which eBay will sell you the Standard Envelope postage, including trading cards (not specifically sports). The postage cost for a 3-ounce envelope is $1.25.

Go into your Shipping Labels and see what you bought.
