·5 months agoHi Jeha, I have a little information that may be able to help you with understanding why the Ai assistant tool is no longer available for you.
If your account gets more active (sales, listings, consistency) eBay often removes the AI listing tool as the tool is mainly given to new or casual sellers and low-volume accounts.
Once you start selling more, eBay assumes you no longer “need” it and switches you to the standard listing flow.
It’s also part of eBay's split tested features.
Which if a feature is part of A/B split testing, then eBay is showing it to some users and not others at random.
If your account was included in the test, then you had access to the AI assist tool.
If eBay ends or changes that test group, then the feature can disappear without warning.
If you switch workflows (e.g., start using Seller Hub or different listing flows), then your account may be moved into a different user group.
If your group does not include the AI tool, then it will no longer appear.
If the app updates, then feature flags can reset.
If feature flags reset, then experimental tools (like AI assist) may be removed or reassigned.
Therefore:
If the AI assist tool disappears suddenly, then it is most likely due to testing changes, account grouping, or app updates.
And:
If there is no manual toggle in settings, then the feature cannot be turned back on by the user.
