Why do buyers get to choose auto pay in 7 days - when eBay has a 4 day payment window?
I get these every so often and in my count about 70% do not pay or want to cancel right before the 7 days? It seems to happen on items with multiple bids. Can a seller check something somewhere that doesn't allow this or make the auto pay in 24-48 hours while they shop for other items ?? Thanks for any help on this one.

路3 weeks agoYou talking about mine^ ? Yeah I don't get why every screenshot needs a human approval before posting. I recently had one (a new OP of my own) delayed several hours. And when an approval delay occurs, the post/reply still carries the original time that the writer posted it, so in that case mine was "born" on Page 2 of the newsfeed. 馃ぃ

路3 weeks ago 路 EditedThe way to stop this is to go into your seller preference and turn off the options for combining orders. You can still put in your description that you'll combine orders after buyer pays, by issuing them refunds of the shipping overage. But these automated settings are the "inch" that eBay is now using to give buyers a "mile," in terms of dragging their butts to pay.
Go to Account Settings > Shipping preferences, make all these a big fat NOPE.

路3 weeks agoYou are most welcome. There are few things that irritate me more than slowpoke and deadbeat buyers, especially when they clearly take advantage of the time window to keep the item "secure" for themselves while they make up their minds if they really want it or not. 馃が
