Why am I charged a listing fee when I lower my price
I've been watching my money just evaporate without any running total on line items just a Bouillabaisse of fees, charges, reverse charges Among all that I see countless insertion fees for items I listed long ago and already paid the insertion fees back then and what's happening is every time I change my price, usually by lowering it, ebay's been charging an insertion fee all over again

A: You're not charged a listing fee when you lower your price.

·1 month agoItems relist every 30 days. SO every 30 days you will have another fee if you dont have free listings available.
It appears you have a store so you will pay for that also. Im not sure what type of store or how many listings you get "free" for paying for a store.
If you cancel an item and relist for any reason, 1 "free" listing again gone or if you have none you are charged a fee.
You need to READ about listing fees.

·1 month agoInsertion fees are due when an item relists. Not just the first time it is listed. Relisting occurs every 30 days.
You do get 250 free lists or relists per month. If you have a basic store you get 1000 free lists/relists. Plus you get a slightly lower FVF.

FYI, a Basic Store is good for a seller ONLY if they are regularly going to run 250+ listings each month. Below that, it is best to either not have a store or have a Starter Store.
You can ALWAYS see where you are at with your available free listings on the Seller Hub in the Promotional Box.

OP1 month agoI didn't know listings only last 30 days, I thought they were forever until I sold or removed them

·1 month ago@lastfairdeal They do stay on "forever" but technically relist every 30 days unless you intervene.
