who really is given actual help here
not 1 person that works for eBay has yet to help me . i am a victim of buyer abuse facilitated by eBay policy. why is it that WHEN i was indefinitely suspended out of the blue on a random day and a buyer opened a false INR claim. why is it my signature confirmation and tracking uploaded all of sudden "not There" i find it hard to believe eBay erases that data or hides it from there own reps and system. someone care to point there finger at me for being a victim of theft and fraud . also tell me why this individual proven with facts and there signature to receive my high dollar item at deliver can lie ,get refunded and still be active and still be a member without consequence still has not paid me or returned my item

·2 years agoI have an INR right now with proof of delivery to this person’s address. I was told ebay is now waiting three days before they take action to resolve this when you show that tracking shows Delivered. Let me get this straight. When you have tracking showing delivered you should always win these cases. Absolutely the only way to confidently fight these scammers trying to get free merchandise if that is what is happening. Also, as a seller you cannot be out high dollars for people who are irresponsible and have no secure receptacle for their mail delivery. In your case with a signature that should be a complete win for you.

Many sellers who have such negative results have made this mistake.

OP2 years agoreread all my posts on what my issue is about before commenting. i am assuming you think i had an opertunity to fulfill a request from eBay. You think i didn't upload what the INR dept. asked of me. reread all my posts your just irritating me by commenting unhelpful irrelevant nonsense.
I WAS PERMANENTILY SUSPENDED DURING THE INR CLAIM PROCEEDING AND NOT FOR ANYTHING I DID WRONG . NOT FOR VIOATING POLICY EITHER.

·2 years agoYou marked a reply absolved. That means their reply fixed or explained and no further replies are needed. If that's a good answer according to you then shut up.
If you still need help then you shouldn't mark best answer.
Any problems you have with a return has to be resolved by 30 days not 3 months later.
It does not matter if the reason for the return request was an error. DId they open a not received case or a not as described case? It matters and you haven't told which case?
If it was a not received case you must reply and put the tracking number in the case by three days. It closes in your favor if you did that and your funds will be released assuming they paid. If it was a not as described case you have to provide a return label by three days and when you get it back you have two days to refund. If you didn't provide a return label the buyer ends up getting their money back without having to return the item.
I think that's what happened.
Somewhere you left out some details. Nobody here here can help since it's been over 30 days.

·2 years agoThere are so many parts of your message that I do not understand; however, other responders have addressed those.
When you state the buyer "still has not paid me", surely you did not ship without having assured yourself that you had been paid? Or are you referring to the fact that, as a new seller, you will find that eBay will most likely hold your funds for around 30 days? You were informed of that fact when you signed up to sell on eBay.
Additionally, if your buyer has opened an INR case, you have the opportunity to just load the tracking information to the case.

·2 years agothey chose to not send back the item although
Even if you have a No Returns policy, you can demand the return before refunding.
You are not required to refund until you have the return.
The Claims process is not as clear as it should be, but it looks like you made many mistakes in trying to end the Claim.
This is why it is not a good idea to start on eBay with expensive stuff.
withthebuisnessscollectibles
OP2 years agoyou should reread all the posts i made on this. i have done exactly as policy states i should do.
what mistakes are you refering too? calling ebay?what else could i do? i had zero control or input allowed During THE proceeding Of the INR because i was deactivated indefinintily. until 12 days after the INR Case Closed. then i was just reinstated due to the fact ebay shouldent have shut me down to begin with . i did not violate policy or cause the random deactivation of my account.Nor did i do anything to regain reinstatment. why is it all of you but 1 person here deliberately making my post confusing to others by telling me things that are not related to my problem . nevermind dont answer.
slati_2013
·2 years agoIt is a bad, bad idea for someone with a feedback count like you do to be selling $1400 watches and other expensive items. Scammers literally target sellers like you. By the time most new sellers understand the dos and don'ts of eBay, they have already been scammed.
Did you ship to the address eBay provided? Remember, when a buyer files a INR claim, you have to upload the tracking again in the open case. Don't assume because you bought a label from eBay, they have it. You have to upload it again. If you did that, you should have won the case.
withthebuisnessscollectibles
OP2 years agoI am well aware what policy is and all was done exactly the way policy states. Ive heard what your saying about re submitting tracking. heard that disinformation before now thousand times.Ebay wants re- confirmation from the seller that the tracking is correct and i am diligent seller on point. This tactis ebay uses to save ebay from having to pay out millions of dollars for ebay system and employee errors. its one of the most used if not the #1 excuse ebay uses to fault the seller for bad transaction. If a seller was doing everything correct and was not to be responsible for bad transaction and error was on buyer or ebay this Tracking re-upload tactic
is the go to way of clearing any fault by ebay. you dont actually beleive ebay does not have that info automatically when label is bought on ebay. IF you See the tracking number on ebay shipping details or on orders sold ,that means the tracking is there. it surprises me to see people that are commenting are regulars here and work with ebay yet are dim and just selfishly spilling disinformation and searching for reasons to put the blame on the OP defending ebay like ebay wont can you out of nowere one day .
albertabrightalberta
·2 years agoEven when the tracking is shown on the order, orders don't necessary link to disputes/claims. You MUST copy and paste the tracking number into the INR claim.
withthebuisnessscollectibles
OP2 years agoI've already covered tracking! Again the issue was suspension indefinitely at the time INR case was opened. That means ebay did not consider tracking or anything just refunded and closed case. i uploaded all needed to prove my defense for appeal but dident matter i was told the refund was automatic because my account was no longer active and that none of the information or proof was going to be looked at or even considered.
withthebuisnessscollectibles
OP2 years agoAgain i will reiterate that on eBay system if you buy a label the tracking IS available to every department involved. THE ONLY REASON YOUR ASKED TO SUBMIT A TRACKING NUMBER IS IF IT DOES NOT SHOW ON THE ORDER if i can see the tracking on my account on eBay its there. Its a tactic used by eBay because its not stated in policy so most people don't know to do that. when eBay is put on spot those who don't upload tracking loose cases automatically end of problem for eBay thats the only thing eBay is concerned about. money and liability. millions of dollars are saved so they wont state in policy that its a mandatory rule. but they do state in policy that if you purchase label on eBay that tracking is automatically uploaded to eBay system. resulting in most people not uploading tracking when a case is opened because they are under the assumption that the policy information is correct. But that doesent apply to my issue does it.
withthebuisnessscollectibles
OP2 years agoPLEASE ELABORATE FOR EVERYONE HOW TRACKING FOR SHIPPING LABELS DO NOT LINK TO EBAY SYSTEM WHY DEPARTMENTS THAT MAKE MANDATORY TO REUPLOAD WHEN CLAIMS FILED OR DISPUTE ARISE IN ORDER TO BE PROTECTED BY THE INSURANCE YOU BUY AND SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION AT DELIVERY.WERE DOES POLICY STATE THAT I FORFEIT MY PROTECTION IF I DO NOT UPLOAD
PLEASE COPY AND PASTE WERE THE POLICY STATES THIS FOR SHIPPING LABELS BOUGHT ON EBAY. YOUR A EBAY VOLUNTEER SO YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SHOW THIS REQUIREMENT IN POLICY THAT CAUSES SO MANY CLAIMS TO BE UNPROTECTED AND SELLERS ITEMSAND OR MONEY LOST.

·2 years ago@withthebuisnessscollectibles My recommendation for INR cases..... You'll win INR cases by dropping off your sold item at a post office and asking them for a receipt. If you upload that receipt to eBay after the buyer claims "INR", you will win that case. Its 100% evidence the item was shipped correctly with a time, date, location, tracking and its an official federal receipt if you use USPS. ( Always recommend USPS only)
I do recommend you follow up on facebook/eBayforBusiness so you can plead your case. Others have mentioned great advice in this thread and I hope you find resolution.

OP2 years agoplease read all my posts on my problem there was tracking validated signed confirmed signature all available. at time of inr proceedings and the appeal. i was indefinintly suspended during the inr. so the buyer was automatically refunded and there was nothing looked at period i was shut down for nothing and 12 days after the inr i was just reinstated and did nothing to get reinstated either.

But am a bit confused—trying to follow what happened. You still have items up for sale. That would not be the case if you were suspended. We need more information to really be able to help you effectively.
Some details we could use are these: what makes you certain your account was restricted? Was it a different account? Did you appeal the ruling? What is the item/listing #?
Sorry for all the questions. Just want to see if there is any opportunity to help.

·2 years agoIf you were indefinitely suspended you wouldn't be able to sell any more.
When your buyer opens an Item not received, you are supposed to up load tracking into the case to provide proof of delivery.
When you do that you will win the INR hands down.
eBay probably had to step in by request of the buyer because you didn't respond to the case with the tracking number. When eBay refunds they also allow the buyer to keep the item if they have it. They probably also gave you a defect for cases closed without a seller resolution.
Always upload tracking number into INR cases.
Chalk this up as a learning experience, you can write off the loss in when you file your income taxes.

@withthebuisnessscollectibles
This certainly sounds like a miserable mess. The claim/return/refund system on eBay is AUTOMATED. The CS reps you get on eBay call back or chat are outsourced foreign call center reps that are rarely useful in overturning or interrupting the bot driven protocol at all. It becomes even more problematic once the buyer is issued a refund, for even if an error was made eBay has no way to take the money back from the buyer and give it to you. In addition, the more the site relies on AI, the more difficult it is.
If you could answer a couple of questions regarding this sale it may help. I am assuming it was your item 355356146110
Due to the speed of "delivery", I am also assuming it was not shipped internationally.
To what city/state was the item sent?
Did you purchase the shipping label on eBay?
Did anyone contact you post sale with a reason the address needed to be changed, and in light of providing good customer service you complied?
Have you looked at the actual tracking history on the carrier's website to see if the parcel had been re-directed by the intended recipient?

OP2 years agoI am 42 years old educated and competent i know how the system works. ive been operations manager for large distribution center. The dirtbag buyer signed for delivery. The signature confirmation was uploaded by me to customer service with Tracking submitted prior to eBay refunding and prior to the appeals department final decision. i spoke with reps 2 times and a escalation team member prior to refund. I will repeat again i was Indefinitely suspended. no longer a ebay member or account. please go back and read all my posts .
the item no. you mentioned is correct. Shipped from AZ.to CO. label signature confirmation and insurance was bought on eBay. eBay reps could have stopped this from happening. There was time. i. was not asked anything about change of address. The dirtbag buyer sent me a message on my phone not on ebay i text dirtbag buyer criminal charges would be filed the message sent to me in response was him asking me if he sends item back will all be good then. he also admitted in messages on eBay as well that he was in possession of item.

@withthebuisnessscollectibles
Thanks for taking the time to answer most the questions I asked, even if you felt it was repetitive. If I understand correctly, you were NOT able to respond to the case and enter the tracking number because your account was under suspension, therefore you gave customer service the tracking number/signature confirmation instead, and lost the case.
buyer sent me a message on my phone not on ebay
How did the buyer get your phone number? Were you communicating off eBay because your account was suspended and you were unable to do so otherwise?
i spoke with reps 2 times and a escalation team member prior to refund.
As explained to you previously, the eBay CS you get on a call back or chat, are outsourced to other countries, not eBay employees, and generally have no authority to assist you. This is especially true with complicated matters such as yours, and they are unable to override the auto-bot system in place regardless of what they tell you. They tell you what you want to hear, and eBay will never back you should the agent give you incorrect advice that causes even more problems than when you started.
To reach actual eBay customer service that are US based, and DOES have the authority to help you can be found by using one of their social media portals. Indeed, good reliable customer service should be available to all members, but the fact remains that it is NOT unless you know where to go. One such place is to use the blue message button on this page:
https://www.facebook.com/eBayForBusiness
Explain your problem in a calm concise manner, and ask for assistance. You will also be able to upload your evidence when asked for it as well though the portal. Yes, you will have to have a F.Book account to use this. but that does not mean you have to start having 'friends' and share what you had for dinner. It is a means to an end, and hopefully that "end" will be in your favor.
Good luck, and let us know how it turns out.

·2 years agoIf the buyer was refunded by eBay it is because you DID NOT upload tracking into the INR as proof.
You are under the impression that " if you buy a label the tracking IS available to every department involved. THE ONLY REASON YOUR ASKED TO SUBMIT A TRACKING NUMBER IS IF IT DOES NOT SHOW ON THE ORDER if i can see the tracking on my account on eBay its there".
You can't assume because you can see it that it will go into cases and returns automatically, it does NOT work like that never has, never will.
Sellers have to be proactive in providing the tracking number or whatever documentation into the INR as proof.
If not, the buyer gets refunded the seller loses.
It is in the Money Back Guarantee policy. It is what everyone has been trying to tell you, but for whatever reason, you don't seem to get it.
You didn't upload the proof for eBay to find the INR in your favor and sided with the buyer because of that and you also lost the appeal. This is pretty much over and done with. You can file the item as a loss on your taxes when you file.
