Where is human support (or intelligent AI support) for sellers? None. Full circle with bots. Insane.
Recently I tried to contact Ebay support - as a seller - during daytime hours.
If you go through the mindless menus and finally get to the point where it suggest to try the Automated assistant. That assistant suggest me to contact ebay by calling (or being called).
Okay, I call the number and get into the automated voice menu through authentication and then again through the mindless phone menus. No matter what option I select as a seller, always the same answer... "you will need to speak with an agent ..."
Okay that sounds promissing. But, it adds them...
We can send you a link to our help on our website, which will direct you through the steps to contact our agent.
Whether I say no - or yes - doesn't matter, the phone bot will continue giving me the instructions to go to Ebay website Help Pages to contact ebay support team.
WTHeck???
So this is a full circle.
The only way I found out to get to the human support, is to pretend I am a buyer and there is an issue with an order and I am not able to get what I need as a buyer. Then I am sent through proper chat agent specialist support and get the issue resolved.
This is horrible, ebay. I am paying so much in fees as a seller and you are not even giving me access support.
I suspect, the reason why I treated like this because I have recently cancelled my Ebay Store subscription so I am on the free account. Because I have not had the issue before. But I may very well be mistaken, if this is how it is now with ebay for any seller.

·3 years agoI know you are upset. You seem to have done a lot of work trying to get to Customer Service. IDK why or how you got to some of the places you describe. There is a link at the bottom of all Ebay Pages that says Customer Service. Clicking on that gets you to where you need to go.
"I call the number and get into the automated voice menu through authentication and then again through the mindless phone menus." This statement makes me think you did an internet search for Ebay customer service as Ebay doesn't have a help like as you described. You have to be VERY careful when you search the internet for Ebay CS as most are likely SCAMMERS.
I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service.

If when you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant, type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options.

·3 years agoNot sure if your location makes a difference (Canada vs US). Which particular issue you are seeking a call back for may play a part as well as far as which options eBay presents.
If I go through the chat assistant and type "agent" I can usually get a link to request a chat or a call back. You may need to provide some additional context to get a call from the correct department.
