where do I update for Seller Acct and financial information?
I started with Ebay 2005, buying, but have never sold,
where do I update my information and/or financial information to receive payment, for selling items?
I've looked all over my account, it doesn't seem obvious?
Is my account so old it's not updating info, or do I need another kind of account? Thanks!

·3 years agoA lot of it depends on whether you ever set this account up to sell items. Did you ever register with MP and link a bank account to your account so you could receive payouts? Does eBay have your SSN and other information for tax purposes?
If this account was never setup for managed payments you have a couple of options. You can either set this account up to sell items or keep this account for buying items and create a new one for selling. A couple of help files.

·3 years agoAll sellers are required to enroll in new Managed Payments. You need to provide checking account (ROUTING# only) and social security# (for tax purposes). NAME on your checking account, social security card and your EBAY profile page must be an EXACT MATCH (or your application may be denied). Must be legal name (no nicknames allowed).
With new Managed Payments money is deposited directly into your checking account 2-5 AFTER sale is made. EBAY immediately deducts selling fees + shipping (balance is deposited into your account).
