When to start listings/auctions?
My question is would it be better to begin listings on Thursday, Friday or Saturday evenings as opposed to Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday?

Your sold items have all been Buy It Now, so just curious why you have now changed to listing your items at auction.
You are selling inexpensive toys and unless you have one that is extremely rare or highly desirable, auctions generally don't work. Buyers want to buy an item when they see it and have it shipped promptly, not wait a week for an auction to end (and which they've probably already forgotten about anyway) to see if they won a $5 or $10 car.

If your goal is to somehow "time" your listings, then what would allegedly be "better" would depend entirely upon where you are located, and where you think your buyers might be located.
But first ... I do not think that timing listings is worth the effort. And second ... I do not think the auction format is a good choice for many items.

·5 months agoLots of opinions on this topic. Since many auction bids come in just before the end it might be best to plan on your auctions ending when the most people may be on ebay. That would be Sunday. So for 7 day auctions start on the weekend. Probably Sunday
With that being said, auctions have really died out here and may only be useful for very rare, valuable items. Common everyday items are best just listed with a Buy It Now price.

OP5 months agoIn fact you are right about auctions not doing well. 12-13 years ago I did only auctions and did great. Lately auctions do not produce sales unless it is something uncommon or rare. Guess I will just stick to BIN.

·5 months agoI start Listings every day & at different times throughout the day, I don't think any particular day is any better than others, You can argue that weekends would be better because more people are home, But I don't find that to be any different than other days.
