when did these 'business policies' get stuck into my listings?

when i go to edit a listing, these 'business policies' are there for payments and shipping and returns.
I know i didn't set them up. it is like they were created based on what i had entered into a few different listings.
within a listing, I can't change them to something else (only edit that particular policy whose details aren't even there) or delete them.
when i finally find where they are in my account 'business policies' tab, i can't delete them there either as they are associated with a listing (that, like i said, i can't change)
anyway to get rid of them????
UPDATE: JUST FOUND THE DROP DOWN TO CHANGE THEM WITHIN A LISTING
BUT, NONETHELESS, WHY ARE THEY INSERTED INTO MY LISTINGS?
