What's the holdup on the Offers page?
I have a screwy sense of time but it feels like this thing has been sitting empty forever. @valueaddedresource , @wastingtime101 or anybody else know what's going on with it?

·1 year ago@mamacassidy Those settings on the App are NOT sticky. Last I used it to send offers, Automated was set to OFF, but Counteroffers is set to ON & reverts EVERY SINGLE TIME to the default, so I have to change it with every offer I send on the App, which is why I don't do it often. I'd rather wait til I get home & do it on the PC, where I get the settings I want.
Perhaps they changed the default for Automated Offers. I don't have any to test it with right now. But they've never been sticky, that I know for sure.

I think it depends on which version of the app. I use an old phone to take photos because the colors appear more true to life than my new phone. And when I used to send offers from that version of the app (Galaxy 8 that hasn't updated in a quite a few years) the buttons were not sticky and I'd have to change them each time.
However, on my newer phone that auto-updates all the apps, the toggle has been sticky since as long as I can remember. I have no idea when I turned it off, but I glance/ double-check it before every offer I send, and it has remained off.

·1 year ago@mamacassidy That's interesting. Mine have not been sticky EVER on the App. I know others' aren't either cuz we hear about it on this board all the time. I doubt it would be OS specific, but I'm on an Android. I have always had to change them for every single offer I send on the app. Which is why I don't do it that often. Please I have keystroke macros on my PC for common phrases & on the app, I have to actually type out my messages LOL. Yeah, it's a little lazy but at my age it's hard to read the tiny print anyway.

Automated Offers are live, I've been using them for a few weeks & my screen is popluated. I don't send them from here, I am using them directly from my SH filter & I send them per item, which is how I always wanted to send them since my discount & message will be different depending on the item.
In my case, that page is populated with all the ones I've set up. 11 pages worth at the default 25 items per page LOL.
ETA: Oops, read too fast, I see you're looking for the non-automated to show up. Those are not showing up for me & I have definitely had some that s/b there. I just skimmed real quick, since I have 11 pages worth lol, but I changed it to 200 & did a quick skim & I only see Automated showing up.

My offers page has shown the offers I've sent (not automatic) for a little bit now, so I think they are just rolling it out slowly like the others mentioned.

·1 year agoThose are appearing for you @mamacassidy because they were automated and you turned the automation off. Notice at the top it still says automated and how that middle column shows the automation end date.
The current filters on the right: all offers, automated, not automated - they all refer to automated offers, it's just the difference of whether the automation is turned on or off.
To appear on that page they had to have been automated at some point. I realize it's not intuitive; I didn't get it when I first saw it. I thought "not automated" meant SIO without automation, but it doesn't. It means offers that were automated and you paused/ended the automation. They are not open active SIO.
@simply-the-best-for-you - yeah, automated offers have been on that offers management page for a while. That's how it launched. OP is asking about SIO that aren't automated. If you look at the thread I linked earlier you will see the bigger picture.

Oh, I didn't realize that I ever had any automated offers enabled.
When I make offers, I do it from the app on my phone, and the toggle has been switched to "no counter offers" and "no automated offers" for as long as I can remember, but I guess I turned those off at some point...
So it's basically showing all the offers I've made with the toggle turned to off? Because that would be all the offers I've sent... And I thought the end date that was showing was the date the offer I sent expired.
You're right, this isn't easy to understand.

·1 year agoHey Cassidy. It's showing offers that were automated and the date you ended the automation. Take note of the title of the column "automated" - which is showing you the status of the automation.
I could be wrong but I thought you replied to one of my posts a while ago thanking me for the offers management link because you said it showed offers you didn't realize were automated and it was a snap to turn them off from that page. I might be mixing you up with someone else and if I am I apologize. There were a handful of posters that thanked me for that link as they didn't realize they had automation in play.

·1 year agoLOL, it might have been me. I don't remember. I know that since I got my current phone with the newest version of the app, I've been sending all the offers from there and the toggle has been off.
But I definitely have taken your advice on quite a few occasions, so I probably turned it off when you posted about it 🙂

·1 year agoYeah, I remembered you being one of the sellers, but I'm not too far from 48 hours with no sleep right now and my brain is fried so I'm not trusting myself to be as "on" as usual. Time to shut down this computer. Have a good weekend.

OP1 year agoHey just wanted to point one little thing out. I'm not saying the listings showing in @mamacassidy 's screenshot were not automated (I see she had the filter set to 'All offers') ..... but as for the title on the left, it always says Automated Offers, no matter what you have the filter set to. Even 'Not Automated.'
I would assume they'll fix that to change the title according to filter choice at some point.

·1 year agoSorry, I don't have any other info besides the excellent answer @wastingtime101 gave - my guess is it's either on a slow/phased rollout or may have been pushed back.

·1 year agoEverything I can offer is recapped here:

Right now that page only has automated offers. eBay anticipated adding non-automated offers in June. Don't know if they started rolling that out to some accounts yet or not. Sometimes they start with small numbers of sellers before expanding. It's also possible they had to tweak the programming so the date got pushed by a few weeks. I have no idea.

·1 year agoWhat I've got showing on my 'Offers' page is pretty much useless.
The main reason I'd use this page is to see how many buyers got a particular offer, those offer amounts, and when the specific offers are going to expire. This current page lacks all this info.
Just says under 'Automated' column -

·1 year agoWhat happens when you change it to "all offers"?
gurlcat
OP1 year agoNothing. It's kinda weird because you see that 'Automated Offers' title on the far left side? -That doesn't change even if you change the menu choice.
I could be wrong but I THINK people who use automated offers ARE seeing those on the page. So maybe that's why that title is 'sticky' for now.
I wanna know when NON-automated offers will be viewable here. I've been looking forward to it, but starting to wonder if they put it on the back burner in favor of other (stupid) stuff.
