What is up with these sold and delivered emails?Rant.
For years I have most eBay emails and notifications turned off because not only are they redundant they are also annoying.
Suddenly I’m inundated with sold and delivered emails from eBay! I have all that turned off yet I still get them.
My solution…block all eBay emails. Problem solved! Peace has been restored in my realm.
Stop annoying your sellers eBay!

·5 months agoIt would be one thing if we got those unwanted 'delivered' notifications moments after the item is marked as delivered in the tracking and on the sold ... I mean ordered page, and not hours after we reloaded the sold ... ordered page and saw that the 'carrier scan' note has gone away and the 'shipped' changed to 'delivered'.
The last delivered notification came two, three hours after buyer had left feedback.
As to the sold ones, again we reload the active page and if the count goes down, we sold something. We then reload the order ... sold page and if the count goes up, then the new order ... sale has been added.
But we still want the sold ones as we keep the email versions in a folder.

I turned off the notifications again.
I must have been part of a beta test then.

OP5 months agoThanks for that sarcasm but sellers are already notified through the app when there’s a sale. Sending through email is overkill.
