What is the current eBay policy on freight forwarders?
I had a buyer buy a large clock and they used MyUS as their shipping forwarder. They received the clock and say the pendulum is missing. I know I packed the pendulum and put it in the box. I removed it from the clock, wrapped it separately and put it in the box after I put in the clock.
It's a shipping forwarder address, but he also admitted in a message to using one and we've been going back and forth while I try to help him and figure out what happened. He sent me pictures of the box and it's TORN UP. There's giant holes in it. So I'm thinking the pendulum came out during shipping. But also, I noticed one end of the box had a kind of tape I don't use so they appear to have opened the box when they received it as well.
Anyway, the last I checked this invalidates their buyer protections and I'm off the hook because I did my part, so I should be in the clear, but when I searched I found a lot of contradicting information and also most of it was way out of date.
Can anyone tell me the current policy? Thanks

·3 years agoThe best advice I can give on shipforward don’t do it. I had 2 that tried to do it and I will not do it I just simply canceled. Using problems with buyers address and canceled it and sent a message I am not doing it. And then I blocked them
